Our IT team has converted all internal documents to fully electronic versions which are now available on our intranet. These small changes alone have been measured in terms of a significant cost reduction for the business but equally important to the environmental benefit of paper reduction.
Introduced Staff Bus Transport
In order to mitigate the environmental impact of our daily commuting staff, we introduced a shared bus service. We now have around 120 employees using the bus from various locations which reduces our carbon footprint by approximately 6,200 tonnes of CO2 per year and is also an additional benefit for our employees.

Replaced Incandescent Lamps with LED
LED light bulbs use up to 80 % less energy than conventional incandescent bulbs. They also cost far less in the long run. We therefore made the decision to replace all incandescent lamps with LED lamps.
SWITCHED TO RECYCLABLE PACKAGING
SWS has implemented an environmentally friendly packing system. Both cartons and packaging tapes are fully recyclable. In addition, any ink used for printing on the cartons is LEAD-free.
