Using the SMETA audit framework, we not only meet global benchmarks but continue to improve, championing transparency and accountability in everything we do. The Sedex SAQ consists of the following key pillars, based on legal requirements, international standards, and best practices: Labour Standards, Health & Safety, Environment, Business Ethics.

FAIR TRADE CERTIFICATION

SWS Board Technology is a Fair Trade Certified factory since 2023. Fair Trade USA is an award-winning non-profit organization that supports responsible business practices, empowers workers, and protects the environment. When a product carries the Fair Trade Certified label, it means it has been independently audited to ensure that the people who make it are treated fairly, paid equitably, and work in safe conditions. Partner brands that support this certification contribute to a community development fund with every product sold, directly benefiting the wellbeing of SWS’s factory employees.

We’re excited to join forces with Protect Our Winters, a movement bringing together athletes, brands, and lovers of adventure to tackle climate change head-on. Founded by snowboarder Jeremy Jones, POW rallies the global winter sports community to protect the seasons that inspire us and the planet we all share. With POW, we add our energy and voice to the call for a healthier future for our sports, our people, and our planet.

As pioneers of ocean stoke and lifestyle, Surf House Dubai is one of the original and longest-running surf schools and community hubs in the UAE, built on a strong sense of environmental and social responsibility. SWS is a proud partner in regular community events that inspire collective action to protect our planet and safeguard the outdoor sports playgrounds we all care so deeply about.

For The Next Generation

PIRATES SURF

SWS also supports Pirates Surf, a local beach-based community program for international children and teenagers. Its mission is to holistically nurture the next generation of good, moral, and hardworking athletes while inspiring a strong sense of social and environmental responsibility. We share a deep belief in the power of community and the idea that children are the living messages to a time we will not see. Educating and engaging the next generation through philanthropy, charitable initiatives, mentorship, and conservation is one of the greatest gifts we can offer; to the world and to the children of tomorrow.
